Q. What happens to my luggage at the cruise terminal when embarking at Southampton?

On arrival at the cruise terminal, you should remove your luggage from your vehicle and hand it to one of our porters, who will place it onto conveyor belts in preparation for loading. Suit carriers should be taken as hand luggage as we are unable to accept them through the baggage pods.

If you are arriving by coach, our porters will be waiting for you as you alight, so you will be able to hand over your luggage straightaway.

All of your luggage (except hand luggage) will be delivered to your cabin and placed outside your cabin door as soon as possible. Please ensure you have attached your P&O Cruises luggage labels to each item. Personalised luggage labels are also recommended but not essential.

This is available on all cruises of any length, including two night cruises.

Your passport and any valuables or medication should be kept in your possession.
