Q. Are there doctors and nurses on board?

There is typically one Senior Doctor, one Doctor and approximately three nurses on board however the number of medical staff is dependent on the size of the ship.

All our Doctors and Nurses on board our ships are fully qualified and trained to assist in emergency situations.

 

Medical Facilities

If you require a specific procedure on board it may be necessary to speak with our medical department prior to travel. Please also see: What facilities are available from the Medical Centre on board?

 

Cost

A charge of £52.50* is applicable for a consultation prior to any treatment or medication. Please note that all medical services on board are charged for and will be charged to your on board account.

 

Travel Insurance

Guests should ensure they have adequate medical insurance before travel that covers all their pre-existing medical conditions. Please also see: Can I arrange travel insurance through you?
